About Dr. Preeti Jain
Dr. Preeti Jain is a highly trained and highly acclaimed surgical oncologist with 14 years of experience and standing in surgical oncology. She is one of the rare Surgical Oncologists in the country who after developing expertise in cancer extirpative and routine reconstructive surgery, also mastered skills in micro-vascular free flap reconstructions for cancer resections.
Presently Dr. Preeti Jain is heading the department of Surgical Oncology at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan Patna. Mahavir Cancer Sansthan is a tertiary care cancer center, largest comprehensive cancer center in east India with 350 beds.
Dr. Preeti Jain has also started Advanced Certification Course in Head & Neck Oncology (for Maxillo facial surgeons, ENT surgeons and general surgeons), and Advanced Certification Course in Gynaecological Oncology (for Gynaecologists at Mahavir Cancer Sansthan in affiliation with local university in Patna). She has trained several students from different parts of the country.

Dr. Preeti has extensive experience and expertise in:
- Head & Neck Cancer Surgery: Composite resections with flap reconstructions
- Micro vascular reconstructions for all cancer resections
- Thyroid surgery, Salivary gland tumors, laryngectomy, laryngo pharyngectomy with reconstructions, Laser surgery for oral cancers and pre malignant lesions.
- Breast Surgery: Mastectomy, breast conservation surgery and breast reconstructions
- All major Gastro intestinal cancer surgeries, Esophageal resections, Surgery for cancers of the gall bladder & biliary tract
- Gynaecological cancers:Radical Surgeries for cancers of the cervix, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, vulval cancers.
- Proficient in performing all types of rigid and flexible endoscopies- direct laryngo pharyngoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, colposcopy. Endoscopic procedures like balloon dilatations and esophageal stent placement.
